Genuine handcrafted 925 Sterling Silver ring with a battered Viking helmet as the figurehead. The backside and the top of the helmet are decorated with a battered pattern of seasoned warrior armor. This ring is smoothly polished on the inside for comfortable wear, and comes in a variety of sizes. Despite popular belief, ancient Vikings did not wear horned adornments on their helmets. Their helmets were traditional cone shape, open faced and often with a nose and cheek guards. In 19th century, Vikings became popular among German artists and they re-imagined Viking helmets in their own vision - with two great horns attached to the helmet's sides, which would be surely uncomfortable or even hazardous given the Viking lifestyle.
