How to Measure Your Bracelet Size
Getting a correctly sized bracelet can sometimes be tricky. How do you know which bracelet size will fit you best? In this guide, we will provide you with methods to measure your bracelet size for the best fit of bracelets that close around your wrist.
If you already know your wrist size - for a comfort fit bracelet length, add an extra 2.5 cm or 1" to your wrist size for ordering. When clasped, most bracelets become shorter in circumference compared to their total length due to clasp overlap and bracelet thickness.
Measure your wrist to find your size: You can also measure your own wrist size with fair accuracy following these steps:
- Use a measurement tape, or if you do not have one, you can use a long strip of paper, string or ribbon.
- Wrap the measurement tape around your wrist where you will wear your bracelet.
- Note the length on the measurement tape, or mark the paper/string/ribbon to indicate the ends of the circumference for measurement against a ruler.
- The acquired length is your wrist size. For a comfort fit bracelet, add about 2.5 cm or 1" to your wrist size for ordering.
Measure the length of any other bracelet that fits: If you have an old bracelet of yours or you can borrow a fitting bracelet from your friends or family, you can measure the length of the bracelet to get your size. If the bracelet is slightly too tight or too loose, make adjustments to the needed new bracelet length accordingly.
