The necklace arrived exactly as expected. The included metal chain is sturdy and of perfect length. I've worn it every day for about a month now, I've had no issues at all. My son liked it so much, we got him one to match. The chain is a bit long for children, so I'd suggest ordering a shorter chain if meant for your child to wear.
