Genuine handcrafted 925 Sterling Silver ring with spinning sun wheel as the centerpiece and Viking art inspired ornaments engraved on each side of the ring. This ring is also smoothly polished on the inside for comfortable wear, and comes in a variety of sizes. This variation of the sun wheel was often used by the Alemanni and Bavarian people around the year 400 AD, and was commonly found depicted on brooches and decorations with number of spokes varying between 5 to 13. Presumably the symbol traveled to the Germanic region from Italy, where first depictions of such sun wheel were found on jewelry pieces dated 700-800 BC.
